Become a RepairChap

RepairChap connects London residents with reliable local handymen for small, everyday jobs that larger contractors often ignore - offering a fairer, simpler alternative to gig-economy platforms.

We're building a capable network of skilled people who take pride in doing small jobs properly.

Why RepairChap Exists

Most homeowners don’t need a full renovation. They need someone reliable to assemble furniture, fix a hinge, mount a shelf or sort out a small repair.

These jobs are often too small for contractors but still require skill and care.

Large gig platforms have turned handyman work into something closer to algorithm-driven labour markets where prices rise, workers receive less, and quality becomes unpredictable.

RepairChap aims to offer a simpler alternative — a local network of independent professionals who share resources and standards while keeping control of their work.

Revenue is split transparently:

  • 75% kept by the partner
  • 20% goes to shared operational and marketing costs
  • 5% supports the platform and growth of the network

Each partner also has their own profile on the RepairChap website, helping customers understand who they are working with.
